We are excited to announce that—starting today—Melissa & Doug and CafeMom are launching our Creative Play, Every Day Challenge!

For the next 10 days, we’re inviting you to explore the joys of creative play with your children! Why “Creative Play”? At Melissa & Doug, we believe that “real play”—open-ended, non-judgmental playtime driven by imagination—is the key to helping children develop the creative skills they need to thrive. From make-believe worlds, to creative arts & crafts, to just exploring your child’s limitless imagination, there are many ways you and your family can enjoy creative play around the holidays.

We’re excited to partner with CafeMom—the largest meeting place for moms online, and a thriving community filled with educational articles, advice, groups, and more. Their “Mom to Mom” group is the perfect place to hold this challenge, and we’re excited to see the inspiring ways you take on our challenges over the next 10 days.

Join the Creative Play, Every Day Challenge here, and every day, we’ll feature a new “Creative Play Quick Tip” for you and your family to enjoy together. Plus, just for participating, you’ll be entered to win $250 worth of your choice of toys from Melissa & Doug (five runner-up winners receive $50 worth of toys!) to spend on your holiday gifts.

Check out the Creative Play, Every Day Challenge for yourself . . . and have fun!

Challenge ends December 9, 2012. Winners will be selected in a random drawing. You must be a member of CafeMom to participate in the Creative Play, Every Day Challenge.
