Enjoy crafting with your kids!

Kids love to play games, and games are even more fun when you can make them yourself! This little project combined two of my daughter’s favorite activities — playing games and stamping! It’s quick and easy to do.

First, gather your materials. You will need a set of stamps. We love our Fairy Stamp a Scene Set from Melissa & Doug! The stamps are well-made and easy for little hands to hold. You will also need an ink pad, some index cards, and a pair of scissors.

Fold each index card in half, then invite your child over to stamp on the back of the cards. Stamp one of each image onto the left side of the fold, and then the right side.

Next, cut each index card in half along the folded line. My daughter loved this part, as she is particular fond of using her safety scissors!

Continue making the cards until you’ve used all the stamps you would like.

Now it’s time to PLAY! Place each of the cards face down on a table, and try to make a match.

Yay! A match!!

Or… wrap up your cards to give to a special friend!

Have fun!!
