My little one would LOVE to have the Melissa & Doug pattern blocks. He is almost 4 yrs old and he is a puzzle KING. He is currently working on a 300 piece Melissa & Doug puzzle for ages 10 and up. He would love the pattern blocks because they would be like a puzzle, yet allow him some creativity in making various pictures. I think it would be great to nurture his mind in a way that will encourage understanding of the variety of uses for each shape.

My 3 year old son loves all of the Sunny Patch toys. The store we purchase all the toys is a general store in our area, but he calls it the Sunny Patch place. We have quite a many sand and gardening toys as well as the umbrella and rain coat. The umbrella goes with us everywhere – rain or shine! There isn’t just ONE other toy he would love to have, but if I had to choose just one, it would be the crab shovel for the sand…that, or the cupcake sand set!

Thank you for making such adorable toys that are durable! 🙂

I absolutely love the seaside sidekicks sand cupcake set! My daughter loves all of her food play toys from Melissa and Doug, so naturally she’d love to take that play outside! What a cute yet simple idea to make sand play more interesting and out of the ordinary. She loves to “bake cakes” in her sandbox, but with this she could really play “cakes”.

Hard decision to make on what toys my child would want, it might be easier to say what she already has or what she wouldn’t want! We love Melissa and Doug toys! My daughter is really getting into pretend play and would probably really enjoy any of the dress up kits, and probably the doctor kit the best.

As far as what WE would both like,… I would love to get the magnetic Calendar and the Responsibility chart so she can learn through a visual exercise about the time and the benefits of good behavior.

Hi, we’ve been really into Melissa & Doug toys lately and bought about 5 in the past month alone…love them! The next one I have my eye on is the deluxe magnetic wooden pattern…the one that comes in the clear carrying case. I could really be using it right now with my toddler in the car for 6 hours on our way to the beach for memorial day!

    Hello Melissa & Doug,

I have been in the childcare field for over 25 years & my friend & I have just opened our own childcare center. When I asked the children what they would like, they saw the progressive puzzles & wanted those. They love bananas puzzle. Its just like how they eat. Thanks Teacher Leanne
